Word! This is definitely an interesting collaboration: Black Fridai & ChinkyEyed LA! My brethren from both sides of the spectrum are joining forces to bring you a FRESH show tomorrow evening, which will be hosted by Home Grown Radio‘s own, Chuck Dizzle! To be honest, this came as a surprise to me, especially with Apollo The Great being the headliner! Shoutout to the ChinkyEyed fam, Rosevelt, T. Hobbs, and the rest of the fam I know from the squad!

Freestyle Fellowship: Album Release Party [10/08]!
Wow! It’s been nine years since they’ve released an album collectively. The LA Legends are back to release their newest album, The Promise, which will be released this month, although there hasnt been an official date to state. They’re celebrating their release this coming weekend over at Vanguard. The first 500 people that RSVP will get in free! Special host for the evening will be Living Legends member, Lucky I Am. In addition, there will be birthday celebrations for Aceyalone and KPL’s king, DJ Kiilu!
Considering this is Hollywood, make sure you get there on time so you can avoid all that damn traffic.

If you have witnessed Jean Grae’s performance a few weeks back for ChinkyEyed’s 10 Year Anniversary, then you should know what it’s like to be at an authentic hiphop show, brought to you by one of the hardest working groups in the streets of LA!
Blu‘s currently creating a buzz with his new release album, called No York! In fact, if you were at Rock The Bells (LA), he was walking around passing out hard copies to everyone! Just in case you want one, make sure you get here to grab one! Scarub of the Living Legends will be in the house rocking the crowd too, right alongside Rebels To The Grain, Pawz One (celebrating his debut record release), Spliff Hemmingway, RE/UP (818), 2Toxic & Chylite, with tunes brought to you by the one and only, DJ B Original!
ChinkyEyedLA’s 10 Year Anniversary [w/sg Jean Grae & Mr. Len]…
If you knew how often this woman comes down to do an LA performance, then you’d probably understand why there was such a huge turn out at ChinkyEyed’s ten-year-anniversary celebration. The moment that she took a step inside the venue, everyone flocked to her! It got so crazy that it took her a few minutes to get on to perform! It was awesome to see that Mr. Len (Company Flow) took complete authority of the crowd to have them split the floor in two so that Jean was able to walk down the path to the stage and bless everyone with her performance! Everyone definitely enjoyed all the fuckery that went on with her and Mr. Len’s antics, as well as her music!
Oh yea, did I mention that Just Blaze stopped by?
Shoutout to all the acts that blessed the Airliner, and a SPECIAL shoutout to the ChinkyEyed LA crew! Thank you for all your hard work in giving the LA scene some really good hiphop shows, and blessing the crowd with up-and-coming talent from all over, especially those here at home.
