Wow. J Rawls back on the West?! The last (and first) time I’ve seen him was almost four years ago at BOOMBOX (w/Diamond D [08/01/2008]). Im pretty sure he’s been back since then, but as far as I can remember, that was the last time. Anyways, he’ll be visiting DJs Plann B & Rhettmatic over at The Crosby next week!

I was too caught up with trying to finish my last minute postings for the night before I took off to head to Santa Ana on thursday (which is why I didnt get to post this event previously). But when I arrived on the scene, DAMN THE LINE WAS LONG! It took me at least 30 minutes to get in, and it was crackin’! DJ Melo D has driven all the way from Las Vegas to keep the people on their toes for this special event. Believe me, it was NUTS! Check the pictures down below..

Soul Sessions: From LA to Japan [05/13]!

There have been many fundraisers for Japan that have taken place when
the disaster first occurred, but we take on an “out of sight, out of mind”
attitude when there is no longer “hype” on the subject.

Remember, the tsunami occurred less than 2 months ago!

There will be a long recovery process for those that lost everything, material
belongings and more importantly, loss of loved ones.

House Shoes celebrates his 36th tonight at Little Temple!

Tonight, all of Los Angeles will be ringing in the Detroit’s Ambassador’s (NOW LA resident) bornday over at Little Temple! Its going to be poppin’ off over here tonight, since Little Temple Bar is normally closed on mondays. Make sure you get here early, though.

Yes, I know it’s a monday, but you guys should come out anyways.
