EVENT RECAP: The 2013 Red Bull Thre3Style National Finals Los Angeles…

Last friday I had the opportunity to shoot the 2013 Red Bull Thre3Style National Finals in Hollywood at LURE Nightclub. It was an awesome event to check out, as I’m thrilled to announce that DJ Trentino (above) representing Chicago, will be competing in the Red Bull Thr3Style World Finals Competition. The event will be taking place in Toronto in November, and he will be our ambassador representing the United States! Motown On Mondays Welcomes Doc Delay to Los Angeles tonight!
DJ Doc Delay from New York will be out in Los Angeles for Motown On Mondays tonight, spinning alongside DJs Expo & Sloe Poke. Just got word that DJ Low Key will be in the house tonight as well, so come out and enjoy the music!
Make sure you tip the bartenders!
Red Bull Brings Latin America To Los Angeles For ESCENARIO [03/07]!
This thursday night, Red Bull Panamerika will be hosting an event which features a variety of styles of alternative Latin music at the Fonda Theatre! For example, you have the Colombian band Bomba Estereo, the Chilean alternative rock band Astro, the ‘tropical bass’ DJ Que Bajo?!, the Mexican pop-rock singer Carla Morrison, and more! This event will be all ages, with tickets being sold for $15 right now. The show does start early, so make sure you guys get there early as well to avoid the line! According to Red Bull’s facebook invite, it looks like there’s over 400 people going.. so you have been warned.
LA Breakers’ 30 Year Anniversary Starts TODAY!
If you’ve been around when bboying started on the West Coast (specifically the LA area), one of the first few names of crews that will come to mind will be LA Breakers, Air Force Crew, and so on and so forth. Today, LA Breakers will be celebrating their 30th birthday in Silverlake at the Graffiti House! There will be nothing but breaking all day long! Tickets are available online as we speak… or you can just pay your way when you get to the spot!

Skyzoo’s FIRST Los Angeles Show This Friday (01/25)!
Back at A3C last year I had a pretty brief conversation with Skyzoo about him coming to perform his first show in Los Angeles, and he basically said just try to get the promoters to work something out! Well apparently, things happen for a reason, and I guess the promoter gods were reading my mind, because all of a sudden a couple of weeks ago I got word that he’s coming out to perform (WHAAAAAATTT!!!!)!
This weekend, Los Angeles… you guys better show him some love and let the brother know that he definitely has fans out here! Opening acts include Foci (w/DJ Pops), Versis, Aspect One (special beat set), and a few others! Get there early as there will be a long line for this special show at Urban Underground!
