UPDATE: The location of tonight’s party has been moved over to Vanguard in Hollywood!

The Jump-N-Funk party will be reaching its ten year mark in a couple of weeks. Brought to you by Rich Medina, this event has not only touched Los Angeles (thanks to Footlong Development & FROLAB) and other parts of the country, it has also touched outside of it, landing in countries like Italy, London, Amsterdam, Paris, Tokyo, Brussels, and Germany. So, for it to be 10 years in existence, LA has something special to be a part of when the day gets closer. Make sure you get to The New Gabah early to get the $10 entry b/4 1130pm.

California Soul 2011 [tonight]!

If youre not here tonight in Chinatown, Ill feel really sorry for you. Read my review from last year’s event which featured the DJ legends Kool Herc & Mix Master Mike. Shout out to the Soul Sessions enterprise for bringing Rich Medina, DJ Hapa, and the rest of the acts to bring you the sounds, while artists like Alfie Numeric will be getting creative on the canvases!

EASY SUNDAY [w/sg Rich Medina] #DTLA (04/10)!

Oh wow, a Do-Over-esque type party (im referencing the time slot) going down this sunday,… AND Rich Medina will be in town! I still have yet to see him do his thing yet, but maybe one day soon that will happen. This is going down in DTLA. Besides, it starts at 4pm. Oops, there will be some artsy-fartsy-type stuff going down, especially some graff.

DEEP: 12 Year Anniversary (afterhours) w/sg Rich Medina & DJ Spinna [02/20]!

I personally have never been to any of their events but I hear about them constantly, especially how Marques Wyatt rips it up on the tables. Plus last week was my first time going to Vanguard. This sunday, DEEP has invited DJ Spinna & Rich Medina to come help celebrate their 12 years of partying on a weekly basis, including celebrating Mr. Wyatt’s bday! It’s going to be an amazing event to celebrate the last day of the All-Star Weekend before everyone goes back east. So, come out and celebrate! More info down below.
