If I KNEW that last month was going to be the LAST artwalk, I would’ve taken my ass up there earlier than I arrived [I got there LATE]. I missed out on June & August’s artwalks. FML.
The popular Downtown Art Walk, which draws thousands to the galleries and shops of downtown L.A., is shutting down until January, organizers said Friday.
The art walk has grown in popularity, attracting visitors who roam though galleries and feast on items from food trucks. But there has been some debate in downtown about whether the walk has grown too large and unwieldy. Organizers said the walk will return and become a daytime weekend event once a quarter.
