If you were at Oscars Outdoors this past Sunday, then you were in for a treat! Screening the 1983 documentary Style Wars as part of their Summer Nights series, KCRW invited co-director Henry Chalfant, Catherine Keener (who helped with the NYC fundraiser to raise money to get the movie’s negatives repaired), and graff writer SKEME (the kid with his mother debating in the kitchen) — to come talk about the movie and how it all came to be.
